The payroll balances.

Piece-rate pay, payslips and monthly settlement, reconciled before they become a dispute.

At thirty people payroll is done by hand and it works. At a hundred and fifty the same method works until the first month it does not — and then the argument is with a person, not a spreadsheet.

Why it breaks with growth

The manual way works until it stops.

Piece-rate figures come from shift reports, the rates live in another sheet, overtime in a third, and sick leave arrives late. It all comes together in the last days of the month, under pressure, done by one person.

The dangerous error here is not the big one. Big ones are visible. Dangerous is the duplicated line that looks entirely normal, survives the whole month and shows up as a difference in a balance — sometimes more than a thousand euros for one person.

What we take over

Four things.

  • Piece-rate pay. Calculated from rates and coefficients out of the daily shift reports, with no second entry.
  • Payslips. Prepared on the net figure and distributed in your usual way.
  • Settlement. Balances carried between months, with the old balance closed before the new one opens.
  • Nightly reconciliation. Duplicated line, missing shift, deviation from the norm, and disagreement between the two files — every night, not once a month.
What you get

The difference, before it is a wage.

sample email, 06:40 People — reconciliation for 31 August: · 54 people, 3 shifts, pay calculated for 51. · 3 findings: – duplicated line for one employee — €1,241 difference in the balance – 3 people with no lines at all this month, on active contracts – overtime above the norm for 2 people · Balances for the remaining 48 match last month. Nothing else found.

A reconciliation is only worth running if someone reads it. So it is short, and contains only the deviations.

What we do not do

We do not pay and we do not settle disputes.

The system calculates, reconciles and prepares. It does not initiate payments and sends nothing to a bank. What gets paid stays entirely a human decision.

We do not replace your payroll software or your accountant either. Social contributions, filings and responsibility towards the authorities are out of scope.

Access

Payroll does not sit in a shared folder.

Remuneration data is restricted by role at implementation. That is a condition, not an add-on: a salary file everyone can open is a problem however well the arithmetic works.

If the piece-rate figures come from production reports, see Manufacturing. If monthly reports are made by hand, Reports. Full list: Industries.

Questions

What people usually ask.

Does this replace our payroll software?

No. It stays authoritative for contributions and filings. What gets automated is what is done in Excel around it — piece-rate pay, reconciliations and settlement.

Who has access to salaries?

Only roles defined explicitly at implementation. Restricting access is part of the scope rather than a later addition.

How do you catch a duplicated line?

By comparing each line with its neighbours on quantity, hour, code and person, and by reconciling the two files against each other every night. A duplicate that also changes the code and the name shows up in exactly that comparison.

At 40 people, is it worth it?

Usually yes, if piece-rate pay is calculated by hand and there are shifts. With simple fixed salaries, probably not — and we will tell you that at the audit.
